Nairobi to Host Global Congress on Emerging Genetic Biocontrol Technologies in March 2027

Registration is open for the 3rd Global Congress on New and Emerging Genetic Biocontrol Technologies, taking place from 15–18 March 2027 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.

Organised by the African Genetic Biocontrol Consortium (AGBC), the Congress will bring together leading scientists, researchers, policymakers, regulators, biotechnology innovators and science communicators from around the world.

Under the theme ‘Advancing responsible genetic biocontrol innovations to improve animal and public health, strengthen vector control, and protect ecosystems’, the four-day event will explore emerging scientific advances, biosafety, regulatory frameworks and the potential of genetic biocontrol technologies to address public health and environmental challenges.
